Figure in Context.

[Breadth 7]

These photographs were taken last April on the Canadian side of a cold Niagara Falls. Snow was falling and the grey sky made all pictures seemed 'black and white' though taken in color.

My first possible concentration piece turned into a breadth.

Artist Statement: Take 2

Through theme and word connotation, my pieces reflect the art of eloquent locution. The words are structured by no means, but instead flow and hide in crevices of the piece, imitating the process of human thought. It is the group of words together that create the image; the concept is not creating individual words. Therefore the denotation of the words themselves are not as important as the placement and image conjured. The art of words is explored specifically through poetry, and the image created through theme and word connotation. Acrylic on canvas is used to create this effect. Furthermore, a rustic color scheme adds evanescence as a juxtaposition of sorts to the longevity of words and art.

Hello Critique Group!
So, I am a bit behind on some paintings and such...sorry! More will be finished and put up on the blog in the coming weeks. The "After" piece is actually going to be the first one of my concentration exploring words/poetry and art. So, for now, I really don't have any specific questions for feedback, hopefully this makes your job easier! Next time, I will be more on top of things...I promise.
